Daily Musing-Jerks that Sell Viagra and a Vet Smack-Down

Leave a comment

Seems a jerk out there hijacked my yahoo email account and sent mass emails touting Black Market Viagra to people in my address book.

I’ve since destroyed the acct. Hopefully that will end it.

Get rid of your Yahoo accts, folks, I’ve seen this happen to others. I should have done it ages ago. Since I use FLIKR (yahoo based) to save photos and place on this blog, completely eliminating my association with Yahoo would anihilate all photos past posted on this blog.

Which made me sad.

So…opened a new username. Will have no contacts in that account for anyone to steal.  I hope this does it.  It’s been a three hour project.  I’m researching other sites to place photos since the photo uploader for WordPress is slow and tedious.  Any suggestions?

On the bright side+++++++++++++++++++++++

  • I just returned form 8 days off. Explored the No. Cal coast from the tippy-top down to Norht of S. Francisco.  More on that later. It was grand.
  • Recruiter is seeing more travel RN work come in. Have fingers crossed for a nice winter location.
  • Moved into a lovely apartment much closer to downtown SB so I can bike/ride in more easily.  Plus, there’s a persimmon tree in the back. Any suggestions what to do with ’em?
  • Have half a Christmas gift knitted. (Trying to stay + here, people.)
  • Annabelle survived a traumatic vet visit involving a blood draw requiring three people to hold her down.  She was the spawn of Satan.  Truly. I couldn’t watch.  Good news:  No Kitty diabetes. Bad News: Old-Cat Kidney failure. Common but there.  Good news: Smack-down from the vet. Major cat-diet lesson. Only high-quality wet food now.  No more dry food. Let’s see if she loses weight now and her kidney function improves.

Foggy and cool.  Today.  Returning to work tonight and I’m dreading staying up all night.
