Purl Ridge Scarf (Cowl)

Need a quick project?  With the holidays scooting around the corner, we all do.  Purl Ridge Scarf by Stephen West is just the ticket.

I had three skeins of gorgeous, squishy, bulky-weight, jewel toned Noro Kama.  It’s been discontinued.  I almost ordered a bunch from Little Knits.  Why do I stay subscribed to their email sale alerts?  Why?  It’s torture.

This cowl flew off my needles in a couple of sittings.  I love the simplicity of the pattern, will surely knit it again.

Though I gently wet block the cowl, it’s weight’s stretched it out a bit length-wise.  I didn’t note how many stitches I cast on.

I’ve been working on holiday gifts. Several are done. No photos or details until gifted.  I’ve been busy. Also been busy planning me-knitting-only once all are done.

Hope you are making progress on your projects.

  1. It’s beautiful, especially in that yarn. Good luck with the Christmas gift knitting….
